Set in the heart of New York’s Hudson Valley, Mirbeau Inn & Spa Beacon is preparing to welcome guests in May 2026, introducing a refined wellness retreat that blends French-inspired elegance with the creative energy of one of the region’s most vibrant small towns.
The 72-room property brings new life to a restored 19th-century estate, complemented by a newly constructed Spa Château. Guests can choose from accommodations in both settings, each designed to reflect Mirbeau’s signature aesthetic, where classic European style meets modern comfort.

At the center of the experience is Spa Mirbeau, a 25,000-square-foot sanctuary designed for relaxation and renewal. Amenities include an Aqua Terrace, eucalyptus-infused steam rooms, saunas, and quiet spaces such as the Reflection Room and Solarium, all thoughtfully created to encourage stillness and balance.
Dining is equally rooted in place. The Bistro & Wine Bar and Champagne Terrace draw inspiration from the Hudson Valley’s agricultural richness and pair it with the timeless simplicity of French bistro cuisine.
Leading the property is General Manager Patty McPherson, a long-standing member of the Mirbeau team, joined by Spa Director Pamela Sandoval and Chef de Cuisine Adam Slamon. Together, the leadership team brings deep experience in hospitality, wellness, and culinary arts, shaping a guest experience that feels both elevated and approachable.

Located just 60 miles north of New York City, Beacon has become a destination known for its art galleries, independent spirit, and access to nature. Mirbeau’s newest property is designed to reflect the same sense of authenticity, offering a retreat that feels connected rather than removed.
With its opening, Mirbeau continues its thoughtful expansion across the Northeast, building on the success of its established locations in Skaneateles, Rhinebeck, and Plymouth.
